Dachshund Parade

One Sunday every September, thousands of dachshunds from Poland and beyond descend on Krakow's Market Square for a fancy dress parade. Prizes are awarded for the best costume, and odes to the four-legged fellows are declaimed. This year, in keeping with the 600th anniversary, we have a specific theme, the Battle of Grunwald, the epic clash in which the Poles triumphed over the Teutonic Knights.
