Editor's review
Anne Frank is a name that is familiar to many as the author of a much-read diary, told from the eyes of a young Jewish girl about her time hiding from the Nazis. The true story is incredible in and of itself, seeing as Anne and her family managed to hide for two years in a secret annex of an Amsterdam house. The annex, as well as the moveable bookcase (albeit a reconstructed one), are all there to see in the Anne Frank House, as well as many other interesting facts and stories, which are told throughout the museum in a way thats easy to understand to visitors of all ages. However, do keep in mind that this place is the 2nd most popular museum in the country, so prepare to stand in a mighty long queue (or book in advance online, thereby skipping the queue entirely!).
