No visit to Amsterdam would be complete without a stroll through Vondelpark, particularly in the summertime. This leafy expanse of green is the most popular destination in the city for visitors and locals alike, who bike, walk, play sports, or simply lie on the grass soaking up the sunshine. In fact, Vondelpark has roughly 10 million visitors per year. Inside the park youll even find a film museum, an open air theatre, and several bars and cafes. The easiest way to find the park is through its arched gate near the Leidseplein, just across the road from the Hard Rock Cafe on Stadhouderskade street.
