Located in Amsterdams China Town, in between the Red Light District and the Centraal railway station, Bird is actually the name of two distinct eateries across the street from each other. For a typical sit-down meal, Bird restaurant is a casual choice for top notch Thai cuisine serving up classics like red and green curries, steamed fish, or fragrant chopped salads. Across the road, Bird Snack Bar is tiny space by comparison, but the low prices combined with the delicious meals available means this place is rarely anything but packed. But for a quick bite on the go, Bird Snack Bar simply cant be beat - its an Amsterdam institution for good reason!
