The night market Asiatique attracts all types of visitors, especially those who enjoy the free boat ride to and front the site from mainland Bangkok. The theme is a bit too polished to be authentic, but it’s a nice place to escape from the chaos of the city and enjoy a meal at one of the dozens of ethnic restaurants. There’s no shortage of boutique shopping: more than 1,500 offer goods of all types. Take advantage of the highest ferris wheel in Thailand for spectacular views of the city.
