Silom Thai Cooking School is known as among the best in the city, and offers convenient classes throughout the week at different times and with different focuses. The morning and afternoon classes, which are each four hours long, include and begin with a visit to the local market, which helps students understanding the art of choosing produce and ingredients and making the most out of local ingredients. An evening class is offered, but does not include the market tour. Each class is 1,000 THB (about 31 USD) per person, and includes all supplies and ingredients. With intimate class sizes of only up to nine people, Silom creates a great learning environment for students to work directly with the teacher and ask questions.
