Editor's review
This site, where some of the most atrocious and brutal acts of large-scale murder were planned, is now a focal point for tourists seeking to understand just what happened to Europe in the 1930s and 40s.
From 1933 to 1945, it was the place where campaigns of genocide were planned, resulting in the deaths of millions.
A permanent exhibition focuses on Berlin during the time of the Third Reich, while the site also houses the Nazi Forced Labour Documentation Centre and has a dedicated educational section.
Entry is free, daily, 10am-8pm.
