Karneval der Kulturen

Berlin presents itself from its best side at the Carnival of Cultures: international, cultural, versatile, tolerant and full of joy and life. Up to 1,5 million visitors are expected. The Carnival promotes integration, tolerance, mutual respect and cultural meetings, everyone is welcome to it. It consists of three parts, the Parade and the Steet Fair as well as the Kids Carnival on Saturday. At the Fair there are more than 900 artists form all over the world, performing dances, plays, playing music or ... Acrobats, magicians, storytellers and many more are here to entertain you. Over 380 stalls with culinary specialities and handicraft! Their staff will gladly give you information about their country and culture. The Parade takes place on Sunday and occupies more than 4000 active participants from over 70 nations. 103 groups are part the the Parade too. If you miss it, you will be sorry for the rest of your life!
