Christmas in Berlin

Unlike most European cities, Berlin is clearly not satisfied with just one Christmas Market. The city boasts several Christmas fairs and markets in which to shop for local crafts, eat traditional food, warm up with a hot drink and generally celebrate the holiday season. Head to Unter den Linden, Breitscheidplatz (around Kaiser WIlhelm Memorial Church in western Berlin), Alexanderplatz (with plenty of rides for the kids), and the Gendarmenmarkt Christmas Market which beautifully decorated but costs 1 euro to enter, unlike the other markets which are all free.
