Film buffs and curious culture lovers alike will surely love this fascinating new exhibition at the Deutsche Kinemathek. Fritz Lang's classic silent film Metropolis was first released in 1927 to a generally unimpressed public, but since then has garnered respect and admiration as one of the most influential films of all time. In 2001 the film was restored, but this exhibition goes one step further by presenting a newly discovered 30 minutes of footage from the film. Set photos as well as a screenplay, music score, and set pieces from Metropolis' city will also be on display.
