No matter how many times you rub your eyes and blink at the pictures, this is still a hostel. It is every bit as grand as the name suggests, but comes without the hefty price tag that you might expect.
There's 24 hour check in, free wi-fi, public transport access, tour and guide excursions, showers, free luggage storage, bike rental and a bar with snacks, all in a fabulous building that practically leaks heritage. Oh, and did we mention that it has been voted the number 2 hostel in Germany?
