Looking for high-end hosteling at low-end prices? The crew of the Pirate Hostel aim to provide just that, proving that not all seadogs are out to make a fast buck.

Their tagline is Luxury for Low Budget, and while you're certainly not looking at the Ritz if you pick this hostel for the duration of your Berlin stay, Pirate can certainly offer clean, welcoming and comfortable accommodation.

There are double bedrooms and dorms, with private bathrooms, or an apartment which has its own kitchen.

All the rooms have TV or computer, and there are self-catering facilities available for guests whose budgets really will not stretch to restaurants every night.
