According to the Local German news portal, it is believed that the Guggenheim Museum travelling "laboratories" will include Berlin as one of the host cities for the project. A collaboration between the Guggenheim foundation and the German car company BMW will see a think tank travel across the world considering urban issues from North America to Europe and finishing in Asia.
The Berlin site is rumoured to be along the northern part of Kastanienallee street in Prenzlauer Berg, though other locations are being considered as well, including Pfefferberg - a cultural venue in a former brewery. The project would take place during spring of 2012. The final decision about Guggenheim Labs sites will be disclosed a a press conference in May. For more information head to the Local website.
