The Irish Harp pub offers 'Ceád Mile Fáilte' - one hundred thousand welcomes to those who step through its doors to find the oldest Irish bar in Berlin.
There are three things that must be present before a bar can claim it is Irish. These are live music, televised sport and, of course Guinness. All are available here in copious quantities, with the owners having gone so far as to become official sponsors of the Berliners rugby club in order to fulfill the sporting requirement. The Harp offers good, home-cooked food and traditional pub events such as quiz nights too, something which often caused raised eyebrows from anyone who is not familiar with Irish and British pub habits.
