It was the first Moroccan restaurant to open in Berlin, a city rapidly becoming a city where every international cuisine is represented.
Since the first customers arrived as Kasbah opened its doors in 2003, it has remained a favourite spot to sample the flavours of one corner of North Africa. Every attention to detail has been paid in bringing an authentic Moroccan experience to diners here. The interior is all wood, leather, cushions and intimate alcoves - and was in fact imported wholesale from Morocco to ensure that the traditional touches of the salon marocain style were not lost.
Add to this the hospitality and a menu replete with warmth, colour and spice, and you may find it very difficult to leave this restaurant.
