Strip away the power of vision and food becomes a lot more about a sensory experience rather than simply refuelling.
That is the philosophy behind Unsicht, where diners eat in complete darkness, relying on the senses of taste, smell and touch to enjoy their meals. There is also an element of hearing too, as waiters (you will never know what they look like), guide you around your place setting using a clock analogy. So unless you have an extraordinary bad imagination, you will at least be able to find the spoons when they tell you that they are 12 o'clock.
Actually putting the spoons to use and getting the food to your mouth... well, you're on your own there.
A genuinely unusual and fulfilling experience, just don't wear anything that stains easily.
