At Maximilians, it's all about great German food and famous Bavarian hospitality.
This, inevitably, means beer, and this is one of the restaurants where you can in fact just drop by for a drink without being obliged to order a meal too. The attached beer garden is the perfect place to do this when the weather is good.
Inside, expect a jolly welcome and a menu crammed with such Bavarian delicacies as cucumber salad with cream, grilled sausages, smoked ham, liver dumpling soup and pork knuckle.
