Cafe Hardenberg is right at home in cultural Charlottenburg, blurring the boundaries between dessert and art.
The cakes at this cafe are exquisite, executed with such passion and panache that they look almost too good to eat. But don't let that put you off - if you have a sweet tooth, any qualms about spoiling the visual effect will melt away as soon as you take your first bite.
All this is complemented by a decor which takes its cue from Art Nouveau, and whisks diners effortlessly back to a sassy, bohemian Berlin of years gone by.
