Think outdoors shops and an image of jagged peaks and timeless, deadly glaciers might spring to mind. Well, fine, you can get everything you need for an expedition to such a place at Mont K - particularly useful if you're only in Berlin for a final taste of civilization before a marathon session in the Alps.
If you don't plan to step outside the city, and don't fancy climbing anything higher than the kerb, this store still has much to offer, come winter or summer.
The colder months in Berlin can get extremely cold, so where better to stock up on thermalwear designed to repel the worst that snow and ice can deliver. And in the sweltering heat of a central European summer, it comes in very handy to know where to get insect repellent that actually keeps the critters at bay.
