Editor's review
More than just books, Another Country is one of Berlin's unofficial centres for English language arts and culture.
It is home to a loose affiliation of native Berliners, ex-pats and tourists, who drop by for events such as the weekly film screenings, gigs, exhibitions and more - or just to socialise.
A nice touch is that, although you can buy and keep the books from Another Country, you can also take them back. It doesn't quite make it a free library (though visitors are certainly free to browse for as long as they wish), but, having paid for the book, you can return it when you've finished reading it and get your money back, minus a small fee.
