Shops and shopping
Each district of Berlin has its own commerical hub, although one of most celebrated must be the Ku'damm (Kurfurstendamm), a 4km stretch of avenue in Charlottenburg. To west Berliners the Ku'damm is THE place to go for all manner of clothes shops, department stores and of course the usual top designer outlets such as Chanel etc. Not that residents in the East aren't spoiled for choice either. Mitte is choc full of funky furnishings and clothing outlets, for those with more artistic tastes.

I love this store! Vintage Filmposters make perfect roomdecorations and great Birthdaygifts... The Store offers a wide selection and I allways enjoy the ideas and suggestions of Helmut the owner... I just wish I had more walls in my apartment to hang more favourite posters....
I ordered a poster from them and it was delivered to me damaged due to flimsy packaging. I did not receive a refund from them.
This place is better than Harrods. The store alone has a building to admire on the outside and inside you do not need to spend a penny if you don`t want to. As a guide you can have a really nice glass of champagne with a cake for under 10 euro. A privliage to go there.
Visited Ka De We two weeks ago during our holiday in Berlin and was blown away .Such an amazing shop,much better than Harrods.
