Resembling some sort of bizarre time travel monster from the drawing board of a mad inventor, Hotel Spirit has a name that's rather understated. This nutty nest is well worth putting on your list if you prefer something a little more offbeat than the standard identikit hotel. Painted in a riot of pastel hues, Hotel Spirit won't be tricky to find if you're lost in the neighbourhood. Guests can take their pick from singles, doubles and triples, all with private bathroom, and there's even a relaxation pyramid for fans of meditation. It's not exactly a boutique hotel, as the rooms are rather spartan, but if you want to splash out, there's an apartment on hand for a double dose of fantasy.

Crazy place. But with all the colours and friendly people .. I spent a great time in Bratislava. If you are tired of common hotels or hostels I recommend to visit this place. It is perfect experience. Thank you!
Very pleasant place with great atmosphere. It was perfect to talk to nice and polite staff and get some recommandation re Bratislava. I have to say the hotel room was the best I have ever slept. All the paintings, colours and window to the garden - I will definitely come back.

This unusual hotel is amazing. New shiny and fairytail colours from outside and special rooms inside. I am very glad I had an opportunity to stay there for night. Very positive atmosphere, polite receptionist, tasty breakfast and very good price.
If you are sensitive to noise, ask for quite room, because we stayed in the room with the window to the train station.

I´v been there in April 2013, and I had beautyful stays over there. Thank you! You was very helpful, I realy love you, your color, your staff, your nutritional supplements, your peace, I realy realy love you. I v been with my husband at the room no. 9 only for 36€ breakfest included!!!! It s a mezonet room, with TV, fas wifi, and with an amazing bathrooms! Everyone has to see it. I definitly recommended this hotel! And it s hotel no hostel, but with the hostel price.
I must say that this place improved a lot since my last visit two years ago..i stayed here with two friends of mine again not only because of price discount , but also because the very near train station location... and i was kindly surprised.. Lot of changes happened..
First surprise was when we got instead of ordinary triple room probablly the best what they have in the building and for the same price(69e)!. Nice and polite young receptionist showed us several rooms and we could choose what we liked cause, they were not full, as she said. Actually every room is different in this place..So we chose " apartman"- room nr.9 . It was a mezonet- two floor room at the top of the building with teracces on both floors with amazing panoramatic view (with an extra balcony even in very big and beautiful bathroom). I can recommend this room to everybody -its extraordinary- you can enjoy the whole capital and feel the trip. Actually it was the best hotel room i have ever been.
Second surprise was a change for the better in serving breakfast. My vegetarian friends were pleased with probiotic yoghurts , homemade cereal bread and fruits.. Everything looked much more clean and fresh. (Even cups, plates and glases_ big difference :) There were warm and cold , saltl and sweet dishes. Very comfortable was that they gave us brekfast even at 1 pm !
i started to love this place and i think lot of older reviews here are not valid and with reason anymore. Ask for " Apartman" and enjoy...
