Editor's review
The opening of the James Bond movie The Living Daylights was set in Bratislava, and you could well imagine 007 parachuting down onto the roof of Botel Garcia, much to the alarm of assorted honeymooners. Indeed, this accommodation is lodged right on the Danube, which makes for an entertaining change from your normal hotel experience. And given that the Danube is famed neither for tidal waves nor giant squid, you're unlikely get all shook up. Sixty-eight beds are up for grabs in singles and doubles, and there's a suite for more spacious shenanigans.

One of the coolest hotels I've slept in. I've never taken a cruise, so might be like that, but it's unusual for a city!!!
