Every city's got at least one, and The Dubliner is a decent stab at that much loved institution, the Irish Pub. A homely interior of wooden tables and chairs, traditional hearth and the odd timber beam is spiced up with the customary photos, flags and memorabilia. More importantly a large screen winds down onto which is projected 'the big game', meaning the Dubliner is never short of a crowd come match day. Needless to say if it's a slice of Slovenian culture you're after then stay clear of the Dubliner... But if you've just arrived in town then it's a good place to meet some expats and sink a cheap pint of Guinness.

I live in Bratislava and don't go here much. It was okayish the few times I've been. Food is mediocre but it's relatively authentic. There are better Irish bars in Bratislava, but none are as easy to find.
Note that the lad above says to avoid if you want a bit of Slovenian culture. I couldn't agree more as the pub is based in SLOVAKIA. Gotta question if he's even been there - that review would have been entirely possible from looking at the pictures. Chancer!
I've been there on a couple separate trips. They pour a good pint. I drank the Smithwicks, but the Guinness looks good. I asked about Irish music, but though they tried, Jud Strunk was about as authentic as it gets here. They had CDs from a coupla Irish/Slovak bands, but they didn't quite get the music. The atmosphere was good, and the Irish food and the local fare wasn't bad. With s good live Irish band it could really kick ass.
Whoever wrote the descriptive information about this place does not know Slovakia from Slovenia !!!!!!
avoid this place like the plague!!!
very rough place with overly aggressive bouncers with baseball bats , knuckledusters and batons...and these are not for show!!!!
