Golden Flat & Co

This new exhibition at the National Museum of Contemporary Art takes a look at the present-day "nostalgia" towards the so-called Golden Era of Ceausescu in the 1980s. This theme is particularly relevent in an installation by Alexandru Poteca entiteld "Golden Flat - The Last Carnival" where items from the artists childhood in the 80s are covered in gold paint. The exhibition also features works by Barladeanu, Constantinescu, Mungiu, and Porumboiu.
