Bucharest Biennale 5

Officially titled the Bucharest International Biennial for Contemporary Art, this massive art event takes place across Bucharest this summer - in galleries, cinemas, old factories, and even a restaurant. The idea of “precariousness” is this year’s theme, with works on display by Romanian artists as well as those from around Europe. But with the experienced hand of curator Anne Barlow of Glasgow and New York, the fifth Bucharest Biennale seems to be in impeccable hands.
