Europe's Second Coolest City

In a survey published by online magazine Slate, Bucharest has ranked second coolest in Europe. Similar to the popular rankings which take into account cities which are most "livable" every year, this particular ranking focused on the aspects important to youth. This included criteria such as the price of beer and housing, the city's student population, nightlife, public transportation at night, and even laws on cannabis use.

Two classes of the ranking were created, with one focusing more on the price of housing. The result was Bucharest ranking second in both. Lisbon and Warsaw took first place in the two rankings respectively.
