This Belgian restaurant has a welcoming, warm atmosphere with an interior like some sort of Tudor tavern filled with retro '50s advertisements, newspaper clippings, long wooden benches and old men. Features of the menu include the hearty soups, large steaks and fun fondue. Portions are generous, and though the prices aren't cheap, they are a good bargain for both the quality and quantity. Belgian beers are available from the bar, though they come at a handsome price and will lead to your financial ruin faster than their Romanian counterparts. Nevertheless, you'll still want to lead your troops here for an evening of choice chow and camaraderie.

This was a very good place for a meal. OK I agree the prices for the Belgian beer is a bit steep, but there are local brews as well available. Great 'frites' and all the usual favourites.
The people that work here are tops, as is the owner. When we wanted cigarettes, he sent someone out to the shop to get them for us--that's some sweet service!
Thanks for quoting my song. Bucharest Life is great, but the city itself almost was my Waterloo. Actually, I think Napoleon fared better than I did...
