Budapest is rich in things to do, and a rainy day in the city is no cause to despair. Excellent cinemas show films in their original language, a host of Turkish-style thermal baths and spas make for a relaxing afternoon indeed, whilst all the usual casinos, bowling alleys and pool houses are to be found too. On a sunny day your options considerably expand, with adventure activities like paintballing and go-karting competing with more laidback choices such as visiting the aquapark on Margaret Island.
We loved this spa. Lockers now operated by an electronic gizmo on your wrist so no need to wait for your belongings. Quieter and nicer than Gellert
WATCH OUT FOR THE THIEFS! Upon starting the game, you're asked to put your personal belongings (wallet, cell-phone) in a plastic box. This is not put in a locker or safe location, but carried by the local guy in his car. After the game, we saw that from different wallets some money was missing (they took not everything so one wouldn’t notice it immediately). At first they said it wasn’t possible as the local guy was carrying the box the entire time with him. After half an hour of discussion and threats (calling police and a local lawyer), they partially refunded (so they actually admitted they had taken it)! I advise you NOT TO BOOK with this company. BE WARNED!
Special exit game, too far from the downtown. But there is a bunkertaxi and this is good. Call the bunkertaxi!
The bikes are definitely nothing fancy, but the tour itself was fun and informative, I recommend it
A very relaxing environment. The pools are elegant and warm and the hotel is quite nice as well. We recommend highly if you're in Budapest.
