Celebrated photographer Lucien Herve, who passed away in 2007, just shy of his 100th birthday, was actually born Laszlo Elkan. He studied in France, and became a naturalised citizen in 1938. On account of his Jewish background he was arrested by the Nazis during the war. He escaped, and Lucien Herve was his nom de guerre in the resistance. He kept it after the war, making a career as a photographer of architecture, working with Le Corbusier for 20 years. Echoing the 100th anniversary of the artist's birth, 100 photographs will be on display at this must-see exhibition.
