If you're arriving in Budapest by air at terminal 1 or 2b, why not start your holiday in style by getting into an Avis car right at the main city airport. They're open from eight in the morning, right through to eight in the evening (Terminal 2b until 10pm, tel: 00361 2966421) seven days a week. If you're already in town, no problem, you can drop by their office at Bank Center - Passage,Szabadsag Ter 7, Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm, (Sundays until 5pm) to sort yourself out some wheels.
