Located in the Strijp-S area, MU fuses art with design, fashion, architecture and new media, creating a one of a kind contemporary art space. “MU” comes from the Japanese word for synergy and evokes the Zen Buddhist concept of being neither something nor something else. This is an apt name for the gallery, which exhibits unusual, thought-provoking pieces by international artists and groups. A visit to MU will broaden your horizons and open your mind, ultimately leaving you with more questions than answers as you leave. The centre is also very committed to education and offers inspiring programmes to all ages during exhibitions.
