Roekie

Every Sunday POPEI presents free live music from talented singer-songwriters.

Sunday October 10th Roekie will play in an intimate setting at the café or terrace. Roekie is the band around singer-songwriter Peter De Roeck, who earned his tracks with cover bands The Suburbs and Naked Poodle. Peter also participated in The Voice of Flanders in the spring of 2019, a passage that has not gone unnoticed. In 2018 he went with Dutch songs and a new group of musicians to the studio of Iann Music Productions in Lanaken. There came "Kom Hier", a collection of honest listening songs under own management. The record was presented in December 2018 in Café Malvine in Heffen. The first single out, "Een Vonk Van Haar", that was launched in May 2019.
