Every Wednesday evening there’s live music at the nostalgic upstairs room of café 't Rozenknopje, one of the oldest bars in town. This week: An Invitation to the Blues, a tribute to Tom Waits. Stunning pop/folk/country and a beautiful “front woman”. That’s LUCY PAUL. Influenced by artists like John Mayer, Joni Mitchell and Amy MacDonald, this band created a wide range of songs that goes from touching ballads to catchy singalongs. All sincere and sung from the bottom of her heart, something you can hear and feel. At the age of nine, frontwoman Marloes started taking guitar lessons and a few years later she started writing her own songs. Together with her band, all very well educated professional musicians, they now how to convince an audience!
