Transferium in Eindhoven

In the future it will be easier to visit the city of Eindhoven by car, without having trouble finding a parking spot.

From December 2011 a transferium will be open where you can easily park your car and take a bus to the city centre. The transferium is planned to be positioned west of the highway A2, close to the McDonalds restaurant.

The city council has dedicated an amount of 250.000 to realise the plans. Last year the province of Noord Brabant already appointed Eindhoven as one of the four locations that should get a transferium to decrease traffic intensity in the inner city.
