Light Route pride of Eindhoven for the 2nd time

This evening Friday December 10th the winner of the Pride of Eindhoven election 2010 has been announced at the Stadspaviljoen. And the winner is... the Light Route (Lichtjesroute)!

It is the second time in 6 years this event, which is organised annually to commemorate the liberation of Eindhoven in September 1944, has won this prize. This year's runner up was the TU/e, Technical University Eindhoven. FC Eindhoven, Dutch Design Week and Effenaar ended up respectively third, fourth and fifth.

The Pride of Eindhoven election is organised by De Weekkrant, Groot Eindhoven. This year over 3.100 people participated in the election, which is open to all 'Eindhovenaren'.
