Over 7 million for Serious Request!

It's unbelievable; 7.135.707,- has been collected during the 3FM charity event Serious Request 2010 in Eindhoven! From all over the Netherlands people contributed for the good cause which is the Red Cross support of AIDS orphans all around the world.

The final amount was announced on Christmas Eve around 9.45pm when the DJs Coen Swijnenberg, Gerard Ekdom and Giel Beelen were set free from the glass house on the Market square.

They were guided to the 18 Septemberplein where an enormous crowd of people had been partying since the afternoon already. Performances by Alain Clark, Ilse de Lange, Marco Borsato, Guus Meeuwis and Blf, together with live footage from the glass house made it an unforgettable evening.
