One of the oldest cafés in Eindhoven, Café t Rozenknopje, or "the living room of Gestel", has long been a social meeting place for all kinds of people in the Gestel area of the city. Entering the café is like stepping back in time thanks to the intact historic interior. Visitors can enjoy a daily dinner service (see website for current menu) and live music events every Wednesday from 9 pm. The nostalgic, 100-year-old upstairs extension hosts mostly blues, jazz and folk experiences, for which there is no entrance fee, but rather a tip jar.
