Editor's review
Time to explore an inspiring place that’s opened in the heart of Eindhoven, already gaining rave reviews including the New York Times. It’s the International Creative Cluster Kazerne on Paradijslaan. Drop by for a delicious meal or drinks, explore the latest exhibition and join the growing international network of friends. It’s the spot where people from the arts, design, research and technology interact.
Get inspired by the “restaurant-slash-showcase for design and technology” according to the New York Times. “With such emphasis on design, I feared that the food would be an afterthought. Not so.”
Kazerne serves high quality Mediterranean-style food, including a wide selection of vegetarian dishes. Everything on the menu is homemade. The menu changes weekly, to take advantage of seasonal & fresh ingredients. Enjoy a 3-course menu for just €35, while surrounded by works of world-class artists and designers. The large room can be reserved for all kinds of business and private events – from high-level dinners to large corporate functions.
Come and explore the expo Next Up by Jeroen Junte: Dutch Design by an involved post crisis generation (21/02 - 31/09).
"Involvement and candidness are striking qualities of the young generation of designers. No longer problems and criticism are leading influences, but chances and solutions are dominating the mentality of this next generation. This inspires for design with a positive contribution on the societal issues. The borders between art, design, science, and even services and politics are fading. The new designer is do-er and thinker at the same time.”
The restaurant is open daily from 12 am to midnight for coffee, lunch, drinks and dinner. When the weather is good, also on the terrace! Entrance to the exhibition and Wi-Fi access is always free.
