New York meets Brabant

Suited for visits any time of the day. De Vooruitgang an extension of your living room during lunch or perfectly suitable for drinks in the afternoon or evening at the beautiful eye catching bar. The interior of New York combined with the Brabantse (province) cosiness. Examples, the combination of typical New York fire escape staircases behind the bar and the old farmer kitchen wall. Furthermore, the Persian carpets where you do not expect them, have a look at our wall of carpets or our lovely tree(plants) wall. Over 2000 on just one wall.

BBQ Chicken

Eat with your bare hands, when/if ordering the famous chicken at De Vooruitgang! The Chicken is prepared with the special charcoal grill. This special developed BBQ grill is placed right in the centre of the open kitchen. The place where the Portuguese or/and France preparation methods come to life, lovely spiced (along) with a crispy crust. Furthermore, De Vooruitgang is also the place to be for a tender entrecote, cod filet or lovely pasta. The menu offers plenty possibilities in all sorts of beer, wines, coffees and teas. Enjoy the lovely croques or sandwiches with tuna, salmon or (real) Dutch cheese during lunch.

From living room till bar

At De Vooruitgang, every Friday and Saturday DJ’s arrange some lovely beats and offer you the possibility to stay for a dance, bite and drink after dinner.

Every Thursday, the new kids on the block can surprise and show off (their talent) during the Spin-inn at De Vooruitgang. Who knows, which future famous artists rises.
