World Championships in Amber Fishing

Each year since 1999, hundreds of participants have gathered on the sandy beaches of Vistula Spit to take place in this frenzied event which attempts to procure Baltic Gold from the stingy depths of the sea. In addition to the competition, the craft of Baltic amber artistry will be on display beside amber rinsing workshops and your obligatory amber history lessons.
