Sopot Festival 2007

One of the oldest music festivals in Europe, the Sopot Festival showcases the best up and coming Polish talents as they compete song-to-song for the coveted Amber Nightingale. It's all a bit cheesy to us, but the Sopot Festival has been luring big names to Sopot's Opera Lesna for decades in support of the song competition. Last year saw Sir Elton John grace the stage, and Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Whitney Houston and Tina Turner have all had their turns in the past. This year we're in the dark about who will turn up, but it's always a doozy. Not to mention that Opera Lesna is an amazing venue.
