Reviews of 4 star Hotels in Gdansk
A super place to stay in Sopot
This hotel is gorgeous! Friendly, capable staff. Good selection of food types for each meal.
Great location in old town, marvelous breakfast. Only beds were too hard for me.
Their Restaurant's quality is TOP-RATE (Gault & Millau rating would be 15-16/20 !!!); The Breakfast buffet's offers are impressive of another higher quality ...; the in-house Satelite TV channel's offer need a re-tunning or re-installation ; a Plumber should be sent into all bathrooms to check faucets and remove build-up limestone/calcary ... Otherwise, a GREAT Experience and profesionnal staff !
The spa and pool area were great surprise! And I would certainly recommend a hot stone massage - it was magic!
The hotel had a very nice view. It is close to all sightseeing attractions in Gdansk.
Lovely hotel all dark wood furnishings with a fantastic spa area epecially the jacuzzi.
Very well presented and clean. Breakfast plentiful. Sopot was amazing and I was very surprised how many fantastic restaurants were around... great place to chill!
An extremely good hotel, which I am very happy to recommend. Clean, smart rooms, courteous staff. Top marks
I stayed in this hotel for 3 days during a stay in Poland. Started in Krakow and then took the overnight train to Sopot. The wonderful restored city of Gdansk is only a short taxi ride away. The staff in the Hotel always very pleasant and helpful. There was a dedicated room for internet access, which I used a lot. The pool facilities were also of excellent standard. Really, nothing to complain about!
Haffner offers relatively good value for money in Sopot. Extremely nice, helpful and always smiling stuff.
Truly four stars, excellent and with a character!
Was recommended this by Gdansk life as the hotel we wanted was full. Couldn't have ended up in a better location. Thanks!
Amazing place, hotel was great and service with a smile every day. Shame about the weather.
Agree with comments below. Very snazzy. Great to get out of Warsaw for the weekend. Even got the wife in the swimming pool.
A very pleasant hotel. Pretty setting. Happt to recommend.
The great thing about the Haffner is that it is QUIET. Easy to get a good nights sleep and all the amenities you could possibly need. Easy walking distance to most tourist places in town and to the center.
Good hotel on lovely street by the waterside. Outside looked quite modern but view from our window was onto old splendour.
The view from my room was beautiful, the location was ideal for the old town and the hotel was comfortable with all the facilities I required.
Nice Hotel with good connection to golf courses in the nearby area. I played the fun golf simulator in the hotel. Next time we will organise real golf tour with Haffner as our base.
The Hanza was a perfectly acceptable hotel but I am tired of the warm brown ugly furniture. It is recurring in many hotels I have staying in in Poland, reminds me of popular furniture in Holland in the 80's . Sorry but overrated
Great place to stay.Extremely relaxing with its emphasis on sport and spa. As seen in some of the other comments I think they have to drop the 'Scottish Shower', the implications of which are just too horrific to comprehend. On a serious note though my wife and I really enjoyed our time here.
It's a super place to stay!
Perfect combination for a hotel in Gdansk: great location, friendly service, and the prices did not break the bank. I will definitely recommend Hanza Hotel!
I didn't try out the 'Scottish Shower' (does sound a bit dodgey), but the Haffner Hotel itself was absolutely fabulous. Really clean nice room and the swimming pool was brilliant - best in Sopot!
Thanks for a great weekend at the Hanza! Everything was wonderful--the location is obviously perfect, as is the service and atmosphere. There is no reason why I wouldn't stay here next time. I don't think you could find a better hotel in gdansk!
Scottish shower sounds a bit dodgy! What do they do - make you like down and get some fat geezer in a kilt to pour Iron Bru over you? Haffner is class though. Definitely one of Sopot's best hotels. Very good value for money
Hanza Hotel is a winner when in Gdansk. Top service, location, character. Everything you could want - highly recommend Hanza Hotel for all Gdansk bound travellers!
The Haffner is one of the greatest hotels in Sopot. What a wonderful place from which to discover the equally wonderful Sopot - or Zoppot as it is sometimes known amongst us German speakers!
The Hanza hotel provided us with top-notch service and a totally relaxing atmosphere, despite being located in the heart of the city, in the midst of the action. I would recommend it to anyone from anywhere.
Definitely outstanding hotel.Location,service everything.Just great.
Perfect location, situated in the centre of town, staff very friendly, very comfortable
