Reviews of Hotels in Gdansk
Fantastic, modern hotel with spacious, air conditioned rooms - ours overlooked the river and came complete with extra sofa, minibar and ensuite wet room. Stylish fittings and very helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and good quality and the main restaurant is also excellent - particularly enjoyed the cod in herb crust, chicken in veal sauce and children's menu was ideal for our 9 year old (who also loved the indoor swimming pool!! ) There is a Decleor spa too although we didn't get chance to try it - loads to do in Gdansk (Old Town 10 mins walk via underpass from Hotel Almond) so pleased we chose it for our familh Easter break and can definitely recommend to others!
Hotel Almond
A refurbished former marzipan and cocoa factory turned exclusive spa & business hotel.

Super nice hostel, right in the centre of Gdańsk (5 min to the Train Station, 2 min to the Old Town). Very friendly and helpful staff, always willing to give tips and advices. Very clean. Nice, modern interior design. Feels very homy, cosy and chill ;) Definitely recommend!
I will be visiting Sopot on July 10th to July 13 (3x nights) and would like to get some price quotes for private apartments for rent. Ideally I would like to stay somewhere on Monte Cassino Ulica or near the Molo. 2 guests. Thanks.
I want to rent a studio or one bedroom apartment in Gdansk,Sopot or Vrrzeszcz starting this july or August 2014. for long term period of 6 to 12 months.
Congrats on the good ratings on hostelworld!
A super place to stay in Sopot
A terrific place to stay
Great place in the very center of town, walking distnce to train station and all city attractions. Fantastic as a base for discovering the city. The staff are very friendly and eager to help out. The room was very clean and nice, simply a perfect deal. I will definitely stay at Midtown hostel again, when I'll visit Gdansk in the future.
This place looks great! Just what Gdansk needed as there has been a shortage of accommodation of this quality and in this range....
There was no beds , electricity , running water, no roof . Plus i had to share my room with 2 vietnamese females from Cambodia.
Rooms are clean and staff vey good free wi fi and a nice garden area close to the old town. some of the nearby buildings are a bit run down. It does not have baths in any rooms but the showers are good.
clicking on your 'website' link for sopot apartments only takes one back to Gdasnk Life website, not sopot apartments website.
Very nice place. I spend at Monte Cassino De Luxe a few days and i1m very satisfacted. Excellent location and very nice service is the great assets of this hotel.
Very nice decor, good breakfast, only the rooms are a bit too small.
The view from the room was great! The walk from the hotel into the old town takes 15 minutes. Nice breakfast and easy parking is a plus.
Hotel is perfect for the weekend break, very good location and reasonable prices.
This hotel is gorgeous! Friendly, capable staff. Good selection of food types for each meal.
It has really good localization, very close to the see. Only the breakfast was not so good, but in general I liked the hotel.
Very nice and kind personnel, very charming hotel with spacious rooms.
Need apartment for 3 nights, from 8.7.2011-11.7.2011 in Gdynia or Sopot. Please, contact me.
Great location in old town, marvelous breakfast. Only beds were too hard for me.
The roof bar was fantastic with a wonderful view over the river and riversidewalk. Only the swimming pool is a bit too short open.
Beatiful location in very grand building.
I stayed at Villa Angela for a week in October 2010 with my son, first visit to Poland. We were not disappointed. The room was great, the staff really helpful and we would not hesitate to go back again. The rates were excellent too. We were able to walk to and from the city centre, very easy to find our way. Highly recommended.
We stayed at Willa Weneda for three consecutive summers. Great location. Great value for basic, clean, safe accomodations. The manager was most hospitable and helpful, as was all of the staff. I would recommend Villa Weneda to anyone. Take the 'S' bus to Sopot and walk to the beach and take a bottle of Polish vodka or a couple of Zywiec!
Nicely located for the beach, the railway station and shops. Everywhere clean, the bedding was a little odd but did the job. Inside a little gloomy but the rooms were bright enough. The breakfast was ok and resonable value for money. Watch out for what seem to be pale white hot dog sausages. We had no problems and would reccomend it with one reservation. The woman who runs it seems to regard guests as a nuisance.
Their Restaurant's quality is TOP-RATE (Gault & Millau rating would be 15-16/20 !!!); The Breakfast buffet's offers are impressive of another higher quality ...; the in-house Satelite TV channel's offer need a re-tunning or re-installation ; a Plumber should be sent into all bathrooms to check faucets and remove build-up limestone/calcary ... Otherwise, a GREAT Experience and profesionnal staff !
The spa and pool area were great surprise! And I would certainly recommend a hot stone massage - it was magic!
I was very pleased with my stay in Willa Lubicz. Our double room was spacious and sunny. Enjoyed the meals at the restaurant too.
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location, The rooms and food are of a high standard, in fact we could not find fault with anything.
The hotel had a very nice view. It is close to all sightseeing attractions in Gdansk.
This is a central location but is still quiet and relaxing. Stuff in reception were all polite and good english speaking.
The staff were all very helpful and spoke excellent English. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and always well stocked.
Lovely hotel all dark wood furnishings with a fantastic spa area epecially the jacuzzi.
A great hotel, with character, prime location. The service could not be better.
Hotel is well located for the main centre of Sopot. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.
Hotel is 15 minute walk down the beach from downtown and 100 meters from the beach.
Small, cosy and very friendly place. When you come in you feel at home straight away.
Very well presented and clean. Breakfast plentiful. Sopot was amazing and I was very surprised how many fantastic restaurants were around... great place to chill!
hey we would like to visit Gdansk but we dont know where to stay so can you help please? we are 2 person by the way
An extremely good hotel, which I am very happy to recommend. Clean, smart rooms, courteous staff. Top marks
myself and eight of my family headed to gdansk on a family reunion.we stayed at the posejdon, the hotel was very nice with excellent and freindly staff.the services on offer were top class. and only a two ninyte walk to the beach.miles of white sand and freindly people.the night life was fantastic even at 3am and the streets full of clubbers,i never seen any rowdiness, anyone urinating or any thing to cause concern.the four nights i spent in sopot. i did not see any police on the streets or any need for them. eating out 10/10 shopping 10/10 cleanliness 10/10 transport 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 pure dead brilliant ps dont tell everyone.
I stayed in this hotel for 3 days during a stay in Poland. Started in Krakow and then took the overnight train to Sopot. The wonderful restored city of Gdansk is only a short taxi ride away. The staff in the Hotel always very pleasant and helpful. There was a dedicated room for internet access, which I used a lot. The pool facilities were also of excellent standard. Really, nothing to complain about!
Humble and with class! We were moved by the amount of care and attention that we received during our stay.
I hate to say this but; this is the worst hostel i have stayed at. It seems like it would have been a nice cosy place about five years ago but they have cut corners and simply haven't kept up with the times and it shows. The cheap cleaning products leave the rooms smelling like bourbon (and not in a good way - it leaves you searching for windows to open but they don't exist so you end up with your head spinning because of the chemicals in such a confined space), there are numerous holes in the walls, the walls are paper thin and let in all of the heat and street noise, there was one small window in my eleven bed dorm (which was not nearly enough to prevent it from becoming very stuffy, hot and smelly), the showers didn't seem like they'd been cleaned in weeks (once again; holes in the walls, moldy bath matt's and no fans), there was no wi-fi and only one computer for everyone to use (possibly purchased in the 90's). The computer was so slow and tedious that all i could manage to do with it was book accommodation somewhere else and leave. Despite all of those negative points; the location is amazing, the rooms are cheap (although they should be cheaper given what you're subject to) and the girl at reception when we checked in was exceptionally nice (all of the other staff seemed distant and uninterested). Once again, i'd like to point out that it seems like it was a great place a couple of years ago. Maybe a little renovating could see it return to something more welcoming.
The Krolewski is a modern hotel in an historic setting. The hotel is spotless and well furnished, with friendly professional staff and offers good value for money.
Haffner offers relatively good value for money in Sopot. Extremely nice, helpful and always smiling stuff.
A great hotel, with character, basically we just loved it.
Not luxury but very sweet and simple. I can only recommend this hotel.
