Poland takes Bronze in Volleyball League Finals

Gdansk hosted the World Volleyball League finals recently, where 16 hard fought matches in the Ergo Arena saw Poland walk away with a Bronze medal. The first two places went to Russia (its second Gold) and Brazil (Silver), who finished the final match with a score of 3-2.

Poland's podium finish is a first in the country's sports history in volleyball, as the men's team beat out Argentina 3-0.

The next FIVB World League finals will take place in Sofia in 2012.
