Elton John to Play Gdansk

British pop star Elton John is set to perform a concert in the TriCity, at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk neighbouring town Sopot. The singer-songwriter will also perform at Lodz one day earlier. The concerts will be promoting a forthcoming album, scheduled for release sometime this year.

This isn't the first time Elton John has paid Poland a visit. One of his most memorable appearances was a performance at Sopot's International Song Festival in 2006, when he was presented with a Golden Nightingale Award from former Polish President Lech Walesa.

If you're looking to catch a performance of Elton John's famous tracks like "Tiny Dancer", "Candle in the Wind" or "I'm Still Standing", make sure to pick up a ticket to the concert soon. Prices range from 190 PLN (45 euro) to 600 PLN (140 euro). The concert will take place on 8 July 2012.
