Music Club in Former Shipyard

Two stages,1 600 sq m of space and place for 1500 people. This is what B90, a new and biggest club in Gdansk's former shipyard will look like. It is estimated that as much as 150 events will be held here annually.
According to Grzegorz Klaman, a head of Fundacja Wyspa Progress, an NGO in charge of the club and an initiator of various contemporary art events, said the NGO were struggling for the shipyard halls to be preserved for cultural purposes.
Klaman admits that all contracts have already been signed and the adaptation works are soon to begin, however not many of them, as the plan is not to change the storehouse's unique look and character.
The club is to be launched this June, with very often visits of the first league of non-commercial musicians and groups in the following weeks.
