The Brits may have their critics, but one thing's for sure... They know how to brew a cuppa! At the English-owned Puss & Rose Tea Rooms you'll find a whopping 90 varieties of tea either to drink there or to buy loose, as well as a choice selection of homemade cakes for when the clock strikes five. Meanwhile those who side with the bean above the leaf can enjoy a very special cup of coffee or the best hot chocolate in town. But don't close your purse just yet as you may be tempted to buy one of the many gifts on sale in the teashop. An elegant interior, charmed with antiques, lace and flowers, refined music and a summer garden help recreate pre-War Blighty.

The tea rooms were really nice, excellent quality of tea. Can't understand what that prick above was saying about it being terrible. Typical English visitor, wanted a free lunch. My experince was great. Go there
The tea rooms were very nice and clean. The tea was very nice and fresh with many flaver. We hope you will help us there next time. thankyou
What a terrible place - charged 5zl for using the toilet despite having consumed coffee. As a Brit, living in Poland for more than 5 years, I have never encountered such poor customer service - amazing that I had to wait to come across an English run business to be the first such. These guys make Basil Fawlty look like an amateur - and as for the wife - there are just no words. The best place for this pair would be a tea-room on Mars - then they wouldn't have to complain about the customers, although from what I saw, customers are few and far between, and so much the better for them. If you don't want to provide a service - don't go into a service industry. The only good thing about the place is that it is on a side street, so hopefully, most tourists will be unaware of its existence. DEFINITELY one to avoid.
I was really very happy with the service and the quality of the tea. I hope to go bcak when I am in Gdansk again. Thankyou
I've been in Gdansk two weeks and I visited Puss&Rose Tea Rooms several times. It's a bit expensive, but really worth visiting for its warm atmosphere, delicious teas, beautiful music, very nice service and sweet kitty :-)
I visited on many occassions. The tea is excellent. Its the real stuff and not packeted. You will not find anything like it. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the English converstaion is most interesting. I recommend you a visit
