This new cafe seems to exist in a world of its own - as all great cafes should. You'll find it on a sleepy little corner near the train station, and if Mr Sun is in a good mood, there'll be a clutter of old wooden tables and chairs outside, ideal for a teddy bears picnic. Inside the spirit is free and funky, with a beguiling mish-mash of odds and ends that look as if they might have been plucked from a a remarkably good car boot sale. If you start to hear peculiar echoes, don't be alarmed, it is not the beer, rather it is the resident parrot, a nonchalant fellow, who enjoys poking fun at guests. A gem.

A very cool place, fantastic atmosphere, perfect for burring oneself with a book for hours, sipping coffee and munching a delicious cake...loved it!
well... that was sth I did not expect... found by chance, took me by an overwhelming surprise with its stunning, uncanny and almost magnetic atmosphere. wish I could back there..
I worked opposite this place for a time. One of the pleasures of working in this area was the opportunity to scoot across the road and take an hour off for cakes and coffee. The ideal hiding place, loved it!
My friend Irek told me about this place in Gdansk. I suppose it's a place I surely visit when I visit him :)
