Club 80's is one of the liveliest ports of call in Old Gdansk. Packed to the rafters at night with scores of bright young things, it's certainly no bad place to get jiggy with the locals. A host of DJs will be keeping things spicy, and there's a range of different levels to explore, including a VIP level where you can go all Puff Daddy with a glass or two of cognac. The club is one of a precious few clubs in the Absolut party partnership, and a crazy collection of distilling paraphernalia crowns the main bar. You can also drop by in the day for coffee and a more laid back vibe.

Ended up in this club after a meal with friends - a quite large group of mixed ages. No problem getting in; staff were friendly and doormen laid back. Was packed and yet on the dancefloor the atmosphere was relaxed and any "bumps" into people did not result in aggressive exchanges - atmosphere friendly. Only negative, the DJ did not play one request, but seemed intent on playing what he liked! There were some great 80s songs he just said "I'll search if I've got it" and that applied to everything asked for ~ this has resulted in a lower mark!
Definitely not the place to be if you are stuck in Poland for the weekend with your folks and your girlfriend and your name is Alex.... The Poles don't like people named Alex... nor do the 80's fans....in fact... if your name is Alex i don't think the doorman will let you in. It's a very particular place... but the music was good!!
I not think much of it, type of place take your parents too if stuck in Gdansk for weekend with your girlfriend.
a banker to provide music you'd forgotten was ever made. slightly surreal entrance and 60s/70s oranegey/brown decor upstairs, but a decent laugh. attracts a moire mature crowd than the average gdansk bar.
"you spin me right round, baby, right round.." dude, i hadn't heard that song in ages! excellent party!
